MOS Applications — Your Questions Answered

  • by

1. “If I must submit my MOS application myself, why use BL Consultancy?”

Answer

Since the launch of MOS, many foreigners assume:

“If I must log in and submit the application myself, then I do not need professional help.”

In reality, MOS changed who signs the application, not the complexity of the immigration process itself.

Under current regulations, applicants are generally required to:

  • log into their own MOS account,
  • verify their identity,
  • electronically sign,
  • and submit the application personally.

However, this does not mean you must handle the process alone.

At BL Consultancy, we support clients throughout the process by:

  • preparing and reviewing applications,
  • checking legal eligibility,
  • auditing supporting documents,
  • auditing employer paperwork,
  • monitoring deadlines,
  • responding to urząd requests,
  • and guiding clients step-by-step through MOS.

In many cases, our clients simply complete the final login and electronic signature after we have professionally prepared the application with them.

This is especially important because many foreigners accidentally:

  • leave applications in draft status,
  • fail to complete the electronic signature,
  • upload incorrect documents,
  • or misunderstand immigration office requirements.

Even small mistakes can lead to delays or complications with legal stay and work authorization.

Our goal at BL Consultancy is to make the MOS process clearer, safer, and less stressful, while helping clients avoid costly procedural mistakes.

2. “I already applied before MOS launched. Do I need to apply again?”

Answer

In most cases, no.

If your residence permit application was submitted before 27 April 2026 under the previous system, your case should normally continue under the old procedure. Submitting a second application through MOS without clear instruction from the urząd can create unnecessary complications and delays.

Many foreigners are confused because:

  • older systems stopped working,
  • communication from offices has been limited,
  • and applicants worry their case has disappeared.

At BL Consultancy, we help clients verify:

  • whether their original application remains valid,
  • whether any action is required,
  • and how to avoid duplicate applications that could negatively affect the process.

Before submitting anything new through MOS, it is important to understand the status of your existing case.

3. “How early should I apply for a new residence card through MOS?”

Answer

We strongly recommend preparing your renewal application several months before your current card or legal stay expires.

Although many foreigners wait until the last moment, this creates unnecessary risk, especially with:

  • long processing times,
  • technical issues in MOS,
  • and delays in gathering documents or obtaining electronic verification.

One of the biggest misunderstandings is that foreigners often focus only on the expiration date printed on the physical card, without fully understanding their legal stay status.

At BL Consultancy, we help clients:

  • assess the correct submission timing,
  • prepare documents in advance,
  • monitor important deadlines,
  • and reduce the risk of interruptions to legal stay or work authorization.
