Do you know that your Trusted Profile can expire?

The Trusted Profile saves you time, stress, and paperwork. It’s especially valuable for professionals who want to get things done without long queues or unnecessary office visits.

It allows you to log in to public administration systems, such as ePUAP, IKP, PUE ZUS and e-Tax Office. You can use it to file applications, sign documents, and even check your medical details or tax returns. If you created your Trusted profile independently of your bank account, it is valid for 3 years. After that, it expires if not renewed for another 3 years.

Steps to extend the validity of a trusted profile:

  • Log in: Go to the pz.gov.pl website and log in to your Trusted Profile.
  • Go to the profile details: In the Trusted Profile panel, find the “Profile details” section.
  • Select the extension option: Click on “Extend validity or change data”.
  • Confirm the details: Verify your contact details and update them if necessary.
  • Confirm extension: This usually requires confirmation via SMS or any other method that you have chosen as the authorization method.
  • Complete the process: Once the process is confirmed and completed, your trusted profile will be renewed for another 3 years.

Important:

Remember that you can extend the validity of your trusted profile at any time, provided it remains active. If your trusted profile has expired, you can’t renew it. You need to create a new profile. If you still don’t have a Trusted profile but you live in Poland and have a PESEL number, we encourage you to create one.
